A Little Sunshine on a Gray Day

It is gray and raining here today so I created a layout to brighten up things around here.  It is a picture that I took while we were on vacation in Florida in January at the beach.

The Sweater

Here lies my first sweater! Except imagine if you will that along the right side a row of 10, yes 10 white buttons because I am to lazy to take another picture at this point.  I have worn it once and absolutely love it, I just need to take some pictures the next time I wear it!

It would have been finished in a month but I have an aversion to finishing things so it took three to complete. I really didn't want to sew on all the buttons!

I have a couple other sweaters that I am currently working on and will post pictures of those soon.

Spring is here so lets celebrate with a card!

It finally felt like Spring here today, so I thought I would share a card I made a few weeks ago. I saw a similar card on the Hero Arts Blog and loved it so I thought I would give it a try.
The window has a clear sheet covering it to act like a real window, cute and fun to make!

A Mini Book

Another project from the class that I have been taking this week. Using a photo that I took downtown when my friend Shannon came to visit as background paper I created a mini book detailing what we did when she was here.

I added in tickets from the places we went and pictures that were taken while she was here. It was a really simple project to complete and I love the result.
I will definitely use this concept again to make another mini book.

I have been in love with the color yellow lately and I am not sure why. Maybe it is because it has been winter for what seems like forever. I found these photos on flickr that I am in love with right now.

A Layout

I started taking an on-line class this week from this girl, and I already love it! Today I made this layout using the ideas from class about creating your own patterned paper. So fun! I can't wait to see what is next in this class.
