Wow has it really been since the middle of May since I posted last?! I have no good excuse other than just not feeling like blogging. It was nice to take a little break, but now I am back and ready to start sharing some more things with all of you lovely readers!
Today I wanted to share the first part of the mini book I made while on the trip in April.
I bought a notebook that had this great graph paper inside and used that as the base of the album. I added in some papers that I cut into smaller pieces before leaving on the trip and a few stamps and a navy blue stamp pad along with some pens and a glue stick. I stuck everything in a big zip lock bag and added postcards and other things I picked up on the trip to the bag to keep everything together.
I used my Fuji Instax Mini camera for the photos and had a blast taking it around and I loved how easy it was to fill up the album as we went with the photos and items I picked up.
Each place we stopped I bought some postcards. I love that they are a quick and easy way to get a great picture of the places we visited. It would be fun to do a travel album by just using postcards if you didn't have an instant camera.
I also used a lot of my washi tape in the album to add some fun accents to the pages.
I will be back to share more of the album tomorrow!
Supplies: Notebook from Whitelines; Paper Pink Paislee Daily Junque collection: Stamps: Studio Calico and Lawn Fawn; Ink: Jenni Bowlin
Love the graph paper book idea and all the post cards and washi tape! Very fun!
